Soooo much stuff, such a small bag......
It never ceases to amaze me how much gear is required on an expedition. Add in a Yeti skullcap and hand, a satellite phone, laptop and a couple of first aid kits it all seems a lot. I guess there will be some sorting out to do in Kathmandu.
Its the final night before we leave. The entire team has been working hard towards this expedition, not just with their fitness but building knowledge of the gear required, the medical requirements and learning about the area we are going to. Also getting their heads around the idea that very soon we will be sleeping on a moving Glacier listening to the sounds of the famous Kumbu Icefall creaking and groaning, all at 17,500feet.
Its going to be a great adventure.............

  4. Hi all...

How's it going? Mercury dropping much?

I found this song on YouTube. It's so much "in tune" with this adventure (pun intended:)

Call it the theme song for the expedition. Or just a top-notch track.

Have a listen. Post it up on the blog. Enjoy > http://youtu.be/nQSxemKPTjg

Best Wishes for the trip to all!
